Vitality is often associated with physical health and energy.  Here is what the American Heritage Dictionary says:  1.  The characteristic that distinguishes the living from the non-living.  2.  The capacity to live, grow, or develop.  3.  Physical or intellectual vigor: energy.  4.  The power to survive.

While all of the above do give definition to “vitality”, I think there is a missing element in the definitions offered.  Spirit.  True vitality comes from Spirit.  The energy that charges the physical with inspiration and motivation.  The energy that distinguishes the living from the nonliving, supports the capacity to live, grow, or develop, physical or intellectual vigor, and the power to survive.

My journey in this life is a process of reconnection with true vitality, the energy that charges and aligns intuition, direction, action, and authenticity.  Maybe you recognize this to be an experience of your life, too?

I have named my blog “Renewing Vitality” because my purpose is wrapped up with that phenomena.  To me it is about coming out from under the layers of distortion that I have taken on in my life which has inhibited or suppressed my true expression of myself.  The layers of distortion being all of those ideas, beliefs, habits, and fears to which I once gave away my power.

Interestingly, it feels to my Spirit much like the description of what oxidation does to our cells.  Simply, the cells of our bodies have receptor sites which become “clogged” by the stickiness of oxidized cells blocking the receptor sites of other cells which inhibits cellular respiration.  Cellular respiration being the release of cellular waste (carbon) and the intake of nutrients (oxygen).  In with the “fresh and new”, out with the “used and depleted”  concept.  It does reflect back on the quality of our water.  It has relation to our feelings and thoughts.

I believe there is a strong correlation between our reality and the cellular condition of our bodies and that it can be affected by many things.  Which comes first is hard to say.  Does the thought come before the condition or does the condition attract the thought?  When and how did it all begin?  Maybe it is a mix, all for the purpose of what is now,  but what we can do to change it, to take back our power, is to first recognize it.  Then we start to empower ourselves, to look at and consider new options for making our choices for creativity.

The condition I am describing is permeated throughout civilization all over the planet.  It isn’t just me that experiences it.  It is all of us.  We are recognizing it.  It is inspiring change.  This is why so much information is circulating about these topics.  I believe we are shedding something we don’t need anymore.  Not that we needed it before, but we thought we did, to be safe.  Maybe there is just a time for everything and the past has served its purpose.  What is taking place is a clearing.  There are many tools available to help us facilitate the process.  We need to clear our “receptors” so we can be who we truly, uniquely are.  Isn’t it wild how receptors on a microscopic level are so relevant to how we experience the world and life more externally?  Everything seems to have some relationship to eachother, eventually.

Real true freedom is true vitality.  Being in present time.  In present time, to act and respond spontaneously to life as it comes, however it comes, and to be aligned energetically to do so intuitively is syncronious.

Vitality is also an expression of the soul, the energy of life speaking through our vibration and action. Vibration and action equal creativity.  We are creative in all we do, whether we realize it or not.  Thought vibration is very powerful.  Everything we do is creative, even if it is expressed through the subconscious.  So choosing recognition rather than denial is a step of beginning empowerment.  That is recognition of and within ourselves on a cellular level, of our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs, our actions, other people and life forms, our environment, our world, and beyond.

You know, something else that I think is really critical in this process is to learn to really relax.  Not just sit in the chair and put up our feet relaxation, but to relax the tensions we carry.  Tension can be subtle, actually, but it is something that makes it hard to allow change.  It is something to take notice of.  One significant thing we can experience tension over is not feeling secure in our existence, another multifaceted topic.  This tension shows a lack of trust.  When we focus on that, it is what we create.  We can relax more as we learn to trust.  Relaxation equals expansion.  Tension equals contraction.

Pause.  Take a deep breath.  Exhale and relax.  Do it a few times, then proceed to have a Great Day.
